Eco Crafts Forum / Scrapstores
« on: 13 Jan 2012 18:21 »
I have recently discovered the idea of Scrapstores. although not yet visited one. I think this could be a fantastic source of cheap and eco friendly materials for my art and craft projects. Has anyone used the scheme?  Can anyone tell me about the Southampton one, which is probably my nearest? or is there one in Reading?  Any comments and advice appreciated!

Thanks Nic Pea for your kind comments. i haven't been doing the blog for long, but I am really enjoying doing it.  My work is very bright coloured, for sure. I struggle to do anything pale or pastel.  I shall feature my cats alongside my work, because they are always around being a distraction ( in a good way!) when i am doing anything.

Have you tried Tippex pens?  They write on just about anything. Make sure you get the pen type, not the corrector type with a brush.

I use them a lot, even  in my art work when I  want a really dense white line. I used tippex pen in this painting.

Hope this helps!

Hi, and help please!

I am struggling to find any craft fairs for this year, in northern Hampshire and Berkshire. I really want to try and get at least 2 a month booked up. I have a couple in the pipeline, but a lot of my emails have not been replied to, and I am wondering why???   I have set up a website, for craft fair organisers, which clearly shows all my goods for sale. Despite this, people are not bothering to reply.

Does any one have spaces at a craft fair in my region?  That is mid and northern Hampshire, Berkshire , and possibly into Surrey, Wiltshire and southern Oxfordshire. Please google Roz Craft Fairs, to see what I do. I would post the link, but a few people have said it does not work.

Thank you in advance.

Thanks for saying Hi. Its nice that people take the time to do that!

I have been busy making things this week, and trying to get some craft fair bookings. That seems difficult, as so many people do not bother to answer my emails.

Big blue bed , where are you in Hampshire?

Jaydee 67  must be a stunning place to live...but a tad cold for a soft southerner like me!
