Bath Potters does some porcelain samples....fine for beads....larger bags would cost too much to post, but the samples should be reasonable :)

There are samples of Audrey Blackman and Royale on this page....says the lowest firing temp for both is 1220c

Hope it's useful!

Thanks Glam Glass :) Mostly I fire the glass at the same time as my stoneware glazes (1260c) but some of the colours, reds, orange, yellow, pink need to be fired at a lower temperature (1050c) to keep their colour. I then sometimes fire extra beads on top of the glass already there in my lustre firings (780c) which fuses the glass, in little globules, but doesn't melt it....I guess this is nearer the temperatures you work with? :)

I mostly work with glass in the little craters to avoid melted glass spilling out onto my kiln shelves :)

Hi Red Shed :)

I spotted you on Folksy :) Your animals are great! Loads of personallity. I have made a few animal sculptures, mostly birds and sheep, but I've stuck mainly to the jewellery at the moment as it is easy to ship! I get so stressed shipping the sculptures!

I never knew you could get rod nippers....sounds most useful :) Yes, I can certainly use any glass that you can't :)

Yes :) I can  use any glass :) I do have some lampworking rods from someone else, a couple of years ago, but they're about 4inches long....I need to break them up a bit :)

Yup! Ugly beads are just as useless as broken beads....but will melt just the same! :)

If anyone sends any to me it will take a few weeks for me to make a pendant for you  :)

Contact me privately for my address if you find some :)

Cheers, Lisa

anyone got any? :)

I can recycle them if you have......if anyone has any they don't want anymore, I'll make a small pendant in return with your glass.
