That's not nice that you are ordering the same gsm from different suppliers and receiving what you think is a different weight. If the paper has different surface textures I can imagine that this would give a different perception of thicknesses, but maybe it is jus ta matter of supplier integrity and finding a place where you trust to buy from if you want it consistant

Hi Hayley! :D

5
Well hello there! :D
Welcome to crafteroo!

I also love cardmaking, but i'venever got so far into it - beads have been my weakness.
Would love to do more cardmarking, but the endless possibilites of machines, papers, stickers, cutters, embellishments, gadgets, gizmos, pens, pencils and paints - I'm sure if i fell into it more i'd become bankrupt!

Promotion is the hardest thing, I stick with the usual ... I have a facebook page for my crafts, i tweet, i use pinterest and I'm a member of forums, which of course drives traffic to my website.

But, my type of thing is different, i sell products not classes.
I would still use the same media, probably with lots of hashtags (#berlin) for example.

If you were to create a free tutorial on your blog etc ... and then promote that heavily, by tweeting, facebook, pinterest - then it's another way to drive traffic to your site and see how you teach.

Facebook ads would appeal to me though... then you can make it just appear to peeps in Berlin - capturing your target audience so much better.

I made a pair of these years ago ... a friend swiped them ::) for a small fee of course ;) i think the currency was a sunday lunch and a cheesecake round at their house! hahah! ;D

So a few months ago (pre-christmas) she told me that she wore them to the office and a colleague of hers decided she wanted a pair. Luckily I had the same lampwork beads in the stash, and she didn;t mind me making an identical pair for her colleague ... but did this colleague ever pay up? ::) bad luck commission for me ... so i've photographed them and will put them for sale... for CASH this time ... or a lamb sunday roast if anyone lives in the Stuttgart area ;D
