This is a nice, multi-part, video tutorial on making a round kitchen table from scratch.  They use black walnut in the demonstration but you can use any wood you like to give you the look you are after.

I noticed some people here on the forum are interested in drawing with Photo Shop but some think that it cannot be used for real artwork.  I found a video showing off the work of a Photo Shop master at work.

There are many choices for making candles and the decisions start far before you choose your colors, molds, and even scents.  What media do the candle makers out there prefer?  I see advantages and disadvantages to all, what is the best to sell at flea markets and other local trade shows?

Jewellery Making Forum / My Neclace and Bead Supplies
« on: 29 Aug 2008 13:21 »
I have been making beaded necklaces for quit a few years now.  In the past I have made most of my necklaces from hemp and would make really thick braided necklaces that would have a large glass centerpiece.  When I was making these type of necklaces I would spend 90% of my investment on the showpeice bead in the middle of the necklace.

However, recently I have been working more with bead work and have looked around to find good places to purchase beads and now use http://www.jewelrysupply.com/ to buy the Swarovski Crystals and pendants that I use.  Most of the time I use the rope or wire I acquire right out of a local Wal-Mart.

I was wondering if others here have a place they like the quality of jewels and pendants that I may look at to expand my design line?

Thanks for any and all responses.
