Oh perhaps me stating the obvious thing is if you have a label on your item make sure there is a link to your website on it so a peruser can take note of the web addy to have a nosey further at your stuff if they can't buy then or there.
I would also check out business link in your area as they give out tonnes of advice and offer free start up courses where they teach you all you need to know including tax man info etc. They also give you your own adviser so give them a call and explain your situation to them and let them do all the thinking for you till you decide how or if you want to proceed
The 1st one I got was quite good, I loved the feel and the look of it and all seemed good so I signed up for its 3 issues for a fiver but now 4 magazines in and well I am getting slowly even more disappointed with it... Think the Making magazine is better same great feeling paper wise lol and more projects that I would do.
