Mmm, I keep thinking I should look at those - big Cadfael fan here. Gotta love a historical whodunnit. :)

Finished Packing For Mars, that was hilarious - if you've ever wondered how astronauts go to the toilet in space this is for you. Read Dead Until Dark, the first Sookie Stackhouse/True Blood novel, quite liked that; and started Across The Nightingale Floor by Lian Hearn this morning, which is pretty good so far.

Apart from The Psychopath Test I've read only trash this year - all three Hunger Games books so I could understand what the hell my eldest daughters were talking about (they were great! I read them all in a 48 hour period and wept like a hormonal adolescent, can't tell my girls as I'm trying to get them to read books that aren't written for kids). Still on the trash and in secret, Dance With Dragons to feed my Tyrion Lannister/Game Of Thrones obsession.

I just finished them! I don't care!!

They were good fun but terrible writing by the author! She needs a good spanking!

Everyone seems to be all over those 50 shades books atm. I'm reading running the rift which I won in a giveaway on goodreads.com :) Only half way through, and struggling a bit with the African terms (though they are explained - I just don't know how to pronounce them in my head). It's a lovely story though, and well written (imo)

Yeah I bought the trilogy last week too. Haven't had much of a chance to read it yet as have a busy weekend and DD is off school sick today, but am about chapter 9 or 10 as I recall. I am quite enjoying it. It's not suposed to be a literary masterpiece, I don't think, but the repetition is getting tedious. I never want to hear the word 'delicious' again!

I can, but it's Estonian: "Kaks tüüpi inspireerivad. I meetod. Keeled." You can probably translate the description in Google but I doubt that would be in much of a help regarding the language learning.  :P

I could probably ask the writer if he intends to translate it - he is a translator too.

Now an English version of the book has also been published.
