These are the engagement party cards I've made for a friend. I'm REALLY pleased with how they've turned out! The blank area at the bottom is because she is providing the greeting. The basis she gave me was "something pretty maybe swirly in black and white with a tiny hint of bright pink if u have it. Lol sorry that sounds like loads, but just something simple and elegant" - I think I've hit every nail there!

I offered to make my sister her wedding invitations thinking - it's a simple design it'll be no problem.  Yeah right, I did not think it through very well at all.  I had about 7hrs sleep in total over 3 nights trying to finish them in time.  The woman in the post office must've thought I was a complete maniac as I had to run like a lunatic to get them posted and in a fit of angst decided the parcels needed another layer of tape before I handed them over.
