So are we! My daughter has 3 countdowns running - one for when she starts school (sept 5th), one for her birthday (sept 10th) and one for us getting sky installed which just happens to be the same day doctor who starts again

Wow I loved this episode, and almost shed a tear when he left the book by her bedside.

Why was the Doctor wearing the suit from Amy's wedding? There's a whole scene missing between Fish Fingers and Custard and him reappearing, why change clothes?
I think it will show you later on him being cured and he came back to trick River into giving away her regeneration power.

Well I have to say that it was one the weirder episodes and I think they getting it wrong.....How are kids supposed to follow it! ??  I think I may need to watch it again to see if it makes anymore sense second time round!

i liked it! but i agree it seems to be missing a scene - which i'm sure we will get in a later episode  and yes hard for kids to follow but i don't think they care as long as there is lots of action scenes high speed chases etc!

i think a lot of the problems with these disappointing episodes are that they are trying to cram a big story in a too small time slot - i loved the "ideas" in this story - the story itself i liked too but there just wasn't time to develop it properly - to me it was a wasted oppertunity - the peg doll people could've been soooooo much more scary and the dolls house idea was great . . . . . *sigh*

I don't normally watch DW but I did yesterday (because I am loving anything that Mark Gatiss does at the minute) and OH and I enjoyed it (and he was terrified of the dolls but then he thinks little girls are scary- too many computer games I reckon). Matt Smith is a very good doctor- it's the first we've seen with him in it. I was shouting at the TV a few times ("why have you let a weird guy with a bow tie into your flat and are easily believing his wack job [but true] stories") but I think the scenes were right....

loved this ep with the Dolls and the Dollhouse.. though I do like creepy dolls... though I oddly find china dolls with perfect ringlets and cupid's bow mouths terrifying?.. I agree that it could have been scarier than it was but I found it much better than the previous episode...

I didn't like the 'let's kill hitler' ep.. It was alltogether too obvious.. i would rather they had an episode before it with a glimpse at Amy's childhood and her best friends... I still hate River Song and will be glad when they kill Rory off for good.. or get rid of all of them and find a new companion for the Doctor.

i don't reckon Amy will do many more - i feel we have done Amy now and she and Rory should settle down and have a normal human baby - perhaps every now and again the Doctor could go take one of them for an adventure

I was pondering after the last ep finished with the robots getting 'old' Amy if they could bring that Amy back but even more damaged due to whatever the robots will ingect her with by being helpful... a mutated evil Amy?

I am such a geek that I dreamt of the show.. in my dream Rory did something really stupid and Amy saved him but it killed her... or mostly killed her and the doctor brought her back with the Tardis' help, so that she wasn't quite Amy any more and the Doctor made Rory walk away and left him on whatever planet they were at. it was all very sad...

I still want Idris to return...

i just watched last weeks ep again - it was really good wasn't it?
But oh my god tomorrows looks really really scary  !!!
