Fabric Origami Bracelet
« on: 29 May 2011 09:36 »
woohoo I managed to do the photo lol

I made this last night used folded fabric. I saw a paper tutorial in making magazine (which is completely wrong and pants that they dont even check the instructions) I worked out my own formula for the sizes and made it with fabric instead. I have stitched it along the edges just to secure it.

I've just this morning been thinking about trying the folded patchwork technique and this is like a 3D version of it! Great idea!

thanks, its pretty simple once you get the measurements right. I go on a 1:8 ratio which seems to work for me.   :)

Thanks I have tried the paper bangle but didnt like how easy it was to break. I did try varnishing them to strengthen but it didnt help much. :)
