Luckily my friend is back from Hull so she brought me some ice-cream!

I'm from Hull and there was never special Hull ice-cream when I was there, unless it was Beverley Ice-cream?!

oh dear my lovely, you are coping with a tonne of stress. moving is hard work at the best of times, but eek what a load!

I hope things are easing off slightly, you're a tough cookie so hang in there!!

It's good that things are getting sorted bit by bit.  Just don't overdo it (yeah, cos that's dead easy when you're moving house) and make sure you have some time for you.

I would also second Toadybobbins' suggestion of Rescue Remedy.  I have used it a few times when things have been really stressful and it's always helped me.

I could be out of action for some time, currently using the internet in the old house surrounded by nothing which is a bit weird- it could be a while before Virgin switch us on because the last person who lived at the house hasn't cancelled but then we don't have a box to pick up his current service and can't get a new connection until he does this, but he won't becaquse of the cost. Gah.

I am back online! However since moving in, the dog's room is concrete floor (well it is currently a garage), Fletcher has taken the liberty of pooing on it every morning which is really driving me mad and he isn't learning that he's not allowed to Also OH is going back to work tomorrow which could be interesting!

To top it off, some madman reversed all the way down Morrisons carpark into my car yesterday. I'm glad it wasn't a person stood there and I got his details so it's with the insurance company now (I'm going to need a bumper, new panel and probably more, I reckon it's possibly a write-off), though if he happens to be uninsured I have to find £500 excess. Glad I protected my full no claims but I need my car more than ever this week as OH is borrowing it whilst I take his to the garage on Wednesday and on Friday I'm working at the Festival of Quilts at the NEC. Just when I got my car all fixed up as well It cost me £500 in new stuff last month!

Well I'm quite happily internet car shopping now, if they fix it and don't write it off I'm going to sell it, it's been really bad luck for me and I have replaced a lot of parts, so I think it's time for a luckier person to look after it! I get it taken away and my courtesy car on weds which is quite exciting!

I am driving a rather snazzy courtesy car and get mine back all fixed on friday (albeit £500 lighter in pocket), the dispute hasn't even been logged properly and the guy that hit me didn't even tell his insurance company! I'm part-exing mine the same day though and I get a powerful fast top spec new Skoda Fabia in ORANGE and god forbid anyone hits me in that as I will probably go down for murder!
